🎙 기자회견에서는 그간 팔레스타인인들과 연대에 힘써 온 박혜성 기간제교사노동조합 위원장, 채민석 보건의료 반전평화팀장이 발언해 경찰의 제한 통고를 규탄했습니다.

💥 A press conference “We Condemn the Seoul Metropolitan Police’s Restrictions on the Palestinian Solidarity March in Myeong-dong!” was held this afternoon in front of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
❌️ The police are restricting the legitimate Myeong-dong march of ‘People in Solidarity with Palestinians’ (PSP), citing “safety” and “concerns over clashes.”
However, PSP’s marches in Myeong-dong have always taken place with strong support from countless citizens, tourists, and local merchants. (Related statement)
🎙 At the press conference, Park Hyeseong, Chair of the Fixed-term Teachers’ Union, and Chae Minseok, Head of the Health and Medical Anti-War Peace Team—both of whom have long stood in solidarity with Palestinians—condemned the police notice restricting the march.
🇵🇸 protests and marches are vital tools for raising awareness of the reality faced by Palestinians and expanding solidarity in South Korea. The police must guarantee the freedom of assembly and demonstration.
