이스라엘의 가자 인종학살이 3년째 이어지고 있다. 불과 3일 전에도 이스라엘군은 가자시티의 피란민들이 머물던 곳을 폭격해 팔레스타인인 6명을 살해했다. 사람들이 전쟁의 참상 속에서 잠시나마 숨을 돌리던 공간조차 공격을 피하지 못하고 있다. 서안지구에서도 이스라엘군은 팔레스타인 마을과 난민촌을 봉쇄하고 가택을 수색하며 주민들을 체포하는 대규모 군사 작전을 계속하고 있다. 정착촌 확대와 정착자들의 공격, 팔레스타인인 강제 추방도 계속되고 있다. 이스라엘은 레바논 영토 일부를 점령한 채 공격을 이어가고, 올해는 미국과 함께 이란을 공격하며 전쟁을 더욱 확대했다.
이 모든 참상은 미국을 비롯한 서방 정부들의 지원 때문이다. 미국은 이스라엘에 무기를 공급하고 정치·외교적으로 비호하는 한편, 자국에서 성장한 팔레스타인 연대 운동을 탄압해 왔다. 그러나 지난 3년간 세계의 수많은 사람들은 침묵하지 않았다. 곳곳에서 거대한 팔레스타인 연대 시위가 벌어졌고 새로운 세대의 청년들이 대거 거리로 나섰다. 대학생들은 캠퍼스를 점거했고 노동자들도 행동에 나섰다. 이탈리아와 그리스 등의 항만 노동자들은 이스라엘로 향하는 무기와 군수물자의 운송을 거부하고 저지하며 국제적 연대의 힘을 보여 줬다.
지난 6월에는 런던에 모인 27개국의 반전·팔레스타인 연대 활동가들과 노동조합 활동가들이 가자 인종학살 3년을 맞아 세계 곳곳에서 다시 대중 행동에 나서자고 호소했다. 한국에서도 이에 호응해 10월 11일 팔레스타인 연대 국제공동행동에 나선다. 인종학살이 장기화할수록 이스라엘과 그 지원자들은 세계의 관심이 멀어지고 연대가 약해지기를 바랄 것이다. 그러나 우리는 지치거나 침묵해서는 안 된다. 한국에서도 지난 3년 동안 팔레스타인인들과 한국인들, 다양한 이주 배경의 사람들이 함께 집회와 행진을 이어 왔다. 10월 11일, 지금까지 이어 온 연대의 힘을 더욱 크게 모아야 한다.
한국 정부는 말뿐인 비판을 넘어 행동해야 한다. 이스라엘의 학살과 점령에 대한 모든 협력을 중단하고, 이스라엘 무기업체와 가자 전쟁 비용 조달에 연결된 투자를 중단해야 한다. 또한 미국이 중동에서 벌이고 확대하는 전쟁에 공조해서도 안 된다. 한국 정부는 이스라엘과 모든 관계를 지금 즉시 끝내야 한다. 팔레스타인인들의 손을 잡고 해방을 향한 발걸음을 내딛자. 지난 3년 동안 세계 곳곳에서 성장해 온 연대의 힘을 다시 한데 모으자. 10월 11일, 더 크게 거리로 나서자. 이스라엘의 인종학살과 점령을 끝내고 팔레스타인 해방을 위한 더 크고 강력한 국제적 연대를 만들어 가자!
[Resolution] 3 Years of Genocide in Gaza
Join the Global Day of Joint Action on 11th October
Israel’s genocide in Gaza is now entering its third year. Just three days ago, Israeli forces bombed a place sheltering displaced people in Gaza City, killing six Palestinians. Even spaces where people seek a brief respite amid the horrors of war have not been spared from attack. In the West Bank, Israeli forces also continue large-scale military operations, sealing off Palestinian towns and refugee camps, raiding homes, and arresting residents. Settlement expansion, attacks by settlers, and the forcible displacement of Palestinians also continue. Israel continues its attacks while occupying parts of Lebanese territory, and this year it further expanded the war by attacking Iran together with the United States.
All of these horrors have been made possible by the support of Western governments, above all the United States. The US has supplied Israel with weapons and provided it with political and diplomatic protection, while repressing the growing Palestine solidarity movement at home. Yet over the past three years, countless people around the world have refused to remain silent. Massive demonstrations in solidarity with Palestine have taken place across the globe, bringing a new generation of young people onto the streets in huge numbers. University students have occupied campuses, and workers have also taken action. Dockworkers in countries including Italy and Greece have demonstrated the power of international solidarity by refusing to handle and blocking shipments of weapons and military supplies bound for Israel.
Last June, anti-war and Palestine solidarity activists and trade unionists from 27 countries gathered in London and issued a call for renewed mass action around the world to mark three years of the genocide in Gaza. In South Korea, we are answering that call by joining the International Day of Solidarity with Palestine on October 11. The longer the genocide continues, the more Israel and its backers will hope that the world’s attention will fade and solidarity will weaken. But we must not grow weary or fall silent. Over the past three years in South Korea, Palestinians, Koreans, and people from diverse migrant backgrounds have continued to rally and march together. On October 11, we must bring together and amplify the power of the solidarity we have built so far.
The South Korean government must go beyond words of criticism and take action. It must end all forms of cooperation with Israel’s massacres and occupation, and halt investments linked to Israeli arms companies and the financing of the war on Gaza. Nor should it cooperate with the wars that the United States is waging and expanding across the Middle East. The South Korean government must end all ties with Israel immediately. Let us stand hand in hand with the Palestinian people and take steps toward liberation. Let us bring together once again the power of solidarity that has grown across the world over the past three years. On October 11, let us take to the streets in even greater numbers. Let us build a bigger and stronger international movement of solidarity to end Israel’s genocide and occupation and fight for the liberation of Palestine!

لنشارك في يوم الحراك العالمي المشترك في 11 أكتوبر!
تدخل الإبادة الجماعية التي ترتكبها إسرائيل في غزة عامها الثالث. وقبل أيام فقط، قصف الجيش الإسرائيلي مكانًا كان يؤوي نازحين في مدينة غزة، ما أسفر عن مقتل ستة فلسطينيين. وحتى الأماكن التي كان الناس يحاولون فيها التقاط أنفاسهم ولو للحظات وسط أهوال الحرب لم تسلم من الهجمات. وفي الضفة الغربية أيضًا، يواصل الجيش الإسرائيلي عملياته العسكرية واسعة النطاق، فيفرض الحصار على القرى الفلسطينية ومخيمات اللاجئين، ويداهم المنازل ويعتقل السكان. كما يستمر توسيع المستوطنات، واعتداءات المستوطنين، والتهجير القسري للفلسطينيين. وتواصل إسرائيل هجماتها وهي تحتل أجزاءً من الأراضي اللبنانية، كما وسّعت نطاق الحرب أكثر هذا العام بمهاجمة إيران إلى جانب الولايات المتحدة.
كل هذه المآسي تستمر بفضل دعم الحكومات الغربية، وفي مقدمتها الولايات المتحدة. فالولايات المتحدة تزوّد إسرائيل بالسلاح وتوفر لها الحماية السياسية والدبلوماسية، وفي الوقت نفسه تقمع حركة التضامن مع فلسطين التي اتسع نطاقها داخل أراضيها. لكن خلال السنوات الثلاث الماضية، لم يلتزم ملايين الناس حول العالم الصمت. فقد شهدت أماكن عديدة مظاهرات حاشدة تضامنًا مع فلسطين، ونزل جيل جديد من الشباب بأعداد كبيرة إلى الشوارع. واحتل طلاب الجامعات حُرُم جامعاتهم، كما تحرك العمال أيضًا. وأظهر عمال الموانئ في إيطاليا واليونان وغيرهما قوة التضامن الدولي برفضهم ومنعهم نقل الأسلحة والمعدات العسكرية المتجهة إلى إسرائيل.
وفي يونيو/حزيران الماضي، دعا ناشطون مناهضون للحرب ومتضامنون مع فلسطين، إلى جانب نقابيين من 27 دولة اجتمعوا في لندن، إلى تجديد التحركات الجماهيرية في أنحاء العالم مع دخول الإبادة الجماعية في غزة عامها الثالث. واستجابةً لهذه الدعوة، ستشارك كوريا الجنوبية أيضًا في يوم العمل الدولي للتضامن مع فلسطين في 11 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول. وكلما طال أمد الإبادة الجماعية، ازداد أمل إسرائيل وداعميها في أن يتراجع اهتمام العالم وأن تضعف حركة التضامن. لكن لا يجوز لنا أن نكلّ أو نصمت. ففي كوريا الجنوبية أيضًا، واصل الفلسطينيون والكوريون وأشخاص من خلفيات مهاجرة متنوعة، على مدى السنوات الثلاث الماضية، تنظيم التجمعات والمسيرات معًا. وفي 11 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول، علينا أن نوحّد قوة التضامن التي بنيناها حتى الآن ونوسّعها أكثر.
على الحكومة الكورية الجنوبية أن تتجاوز الانتقادات الكلامية إلى اتخاذ إجراءات فعلية. يجب عليها وقف كل أشكال التعاون المرتبطة بالمجازر والاحتلال الإسرائيليين، ووقف الاستثمارات المرتبطة بشركات الأسلحة الإسرائيلية وبتمويل تكاليف حرب غزة. كما يجب ألا تتعاون مع الحروب التي تخوضها الولايات المتحدة وتوسّع نطاقها في الشرق الأوسط. وعلى الحكومة الكورية الجنوبية أن تنهي فورًا جميع علاقاتها مع إسرائيل. فلنمدّ أيدينا إلى الفلسطينيين ولنخطُ معًا نحو التحرر. ولنوحّد من جديد قوة التضامن التي نمت في أنحاء العالم خلال السنوات الثلاث الماضية. في 11 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول، فلننزل إلى الشوارع بأعداد أكبر. ولنبنِ تضامنًا دوليًا أوسع وأقوى من أجل إنهاء الإبادة الجماعية والاحتلال الإسرائيليين وتحقيق تحرير فلسطين!
