오늘은 2026년 6월 5일입니다. 즉, 이 참혹한 전쟁, 인종학살 전쟁이 시작된 지 약 2년 반이 지난 시점입니다.
2년 반이 지났지만 상황은 변하지 않았습니다. 매일 폭격이 이어지고, 매일 사망자가 나오고, 매일 부상자가 발생합니다.
굶주림은 아이들의 생명을 위협하고 있습니다. 물이 부족하고, 위생이 부족하며, 안전도 없습니다.
아무것도 달라지지 않았습니다. 휴전이 이루어졌다고 하거나 휴전 상태라고 말하지만, 실제로는 전혀 그렇지 않습니다.
폭격은 계속되고 있고, 희생자는 수천 명에 이릅니다.
천막 생활도 여전히 그대로입니다. 더위는 천막 안에서 우리를 괴롭히고 있습니다. 환기 수단도 없고, 오락이나 여가 수단도 없습니다.
갈증을 해소할 차가운 물도 없고, 어떠한 휴식 수단도 없습니다.
이렇게 2년 반 동안 아무것도 변하지 않았습니다.
우리는 여전히 물을 받기 위해 줄을 서고, 무료 급식소 배급을 받기 위해 줄을 섭니다.
배고픔을 달랠 음식도 충분히 구하지 못합니다.
물가는 계속 오르고 있으며, 모든 것은 제대로 사용할 수 없는 상태입니다.
Hello. My name is Asma, and I am from Gaza.
Today is June 5, 2026. That means it has been about two and a half years since this horrific war—the genocidal war—began.
Two and a half years have passed, yet the situation has not changed. Bombings continue every day. Every day there are deaths, and every day there are people who are wounded.
Hunger is threatening the lives of children. There is a shortage of water, a lack of sanitation, and no safety.
Nothing has changed. People say that a ceasefire has been reached or that a ceasefire is in effect, but in reality that is not the case at all.
The bombardment continues, and the number of victims has reached into the thousands.
Life in tents also remains unchanged. The heat torments us inside the tents. There is no means of ventilation, and there are no opportunities for recreation or leisure.
There is no cold water to quench our thirst, nor any means of rest or relief.
For two and a half years, nothing has changed.
We still stand in line to receive water, and we stand in line to receive food distributions from free meal centers.
We cannot obtain enough food even to satisfy our hunger.
Prices continue to rise, and everything is in a state where it cannot be properly used.
Nothing has improved, and we continue to endure these conditions day after day.
