지금 현지에서는 매일 점령군이 “황색 구역”으로 분류된 지역 더 깊숙히 진주해 팔레스타인 영토를 더 많이 강탈하고 구역을 넓히려고 하고 있습니다. 이런 군사적 팽창은 그저 국경선을 다시 긋는 것일 뿐 아니라 공포와 영구적 추방이라는 현실을 사람들에게 강요하기 위해서이기도 합니다.
인도주의적 관점에서 보면, 이런 광경은 길어져만 가는 국경 통로들의 폐쇄와 물자 및 생필품 반입의 제한과 맞물려 더욱 비참하게 보입니다. 식량과 의약품 위기는 더 심각해지고 있고, 가장 중요한 빵과 같이 생계 유지를 위한 가장 기초적인 품목을 제공하는 데서 국제 기구들의 구실은 눈에 띄게 줄어들고 있습니다.
이스라엘이 라파 국경 봉쇄를 유지하는 탓에 오직 소수의 환자와 부상자들(중요하게는 어린이들)만이 가자를 떠날 수 있습니다. 이런 비극은 날이 갈수록 더욱 심해져 갑니다. 치료를 필요로 하는 수천명이 살아남을 것이라는 조금치의 희망도 갖지 못한 채로 여전히 가자지구 내에 갇혀 있습니다.
사람들은 폭격만큼이나 굶주림에도 시달리며, 그나마 남아 있는 인내력마저 완전히 바닥내는 이중의 전투를 치르고 있습니다.
이런 현실 속에서, 전장의 화염과 가혹한 정책 사이에서, 가자는 훨씬 위험한 국면에 접어들고 있습니다. 압력이 격화되고 전례 없는 수준으로 선택지가 줄어드는 그런 국면 말입니다.

The continuous bombardment does not cease, and assassination operations are accelerating, targeting everything that could keep life standing in this devastated sector.
On the ground, the occupation forces advance daily deep into the areas classified as “yellow zones” in order to gradually expand them by seizing more Palestinian land. This military expansion is not only redrawing the geography, but also imposing a new reality of fear and permanent displacement upon the population.
Humanitarily, the scene grows darker with the continued closure of the crossings and the restriction on the entry of goods and essential supplies. The crises of food and medicine are worsening, while the role of international organizations is noticeably declining, even regarding the most basic necessities of life, foremost among them bread.
With the continuation of Israeli restrictions at the Rafah crossing and the departure of only a limited number of patients and wounded people, especially children, the tragedy is becoming more severe day after day. Thousands in need of treatment are still trapped inside the Strip without any near hope of survival.
People here are confronting hunger just as they are confronting bombardment, in a double battle that is draining whatever remains of their ability to endure.
Under this reality, between the fire of the battlefield and the harshness of policies, Gaza appears to be facing a far more dangerous phase, where pressures intensify and options narrow to an unprecedented extent.
