서울대 이스라엘교육연구센터가 기독교 시온주의 단체와 이스라엘 대사관으로부터 재정 지원을 받고 있다는 〈한겨레〉의 단독 보도가 나왔습니다.
더펠로우십코리아는 미국에 기반을 둔 기독교 시온주의 조직 IFCJ의 한국지부로, 유대인들이 ‘성지로 귀환’하는 것을 지원하고 있습니다. 팔레스타인인들로부터 강탈한 땅에 더많은 유대인 정착민들이 이주하게 함으로써 점령을 공고화하는 데 가담하고 있는 것입니다.
주한 이스라엘 대사관도 “센터 운영에 필요한 자금 확보를 지원한다”는 내용의 지원 의향서를 써준 것으로 드러났습니다.
또한, 이스라엘교육연구센터가 학칙에 규정된 절차를 생략하고 설립되어 절차상 하자도 있다는 지적입니다.
내일(금요일) 오전 10시 서울대 행정관 앞에서 열리는 이스라엘교육연구센터 폐쇄 요구 기자회견에 많은 참가 부탁드리겠습니다.

The Hankyoreh @hani.pic has exclusively reported that SNU Israel Education Research Center (IERC) is funded by a Christian Zionist organization and the Israeli Embassy.
The Fellowship Korea is a South Korean branch of International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ), which is a U.S.-based Christian Zionist organization. One of this organization’s core activities is supporting the ‘return to the Holy Land’ of Jews, which is nothing less than consolidating the occupation by encouraging more Jewish settlers to migrate to the land stolen from Palestinians.
It has also been revealed that the Israeli Embassy in South Korea provided a Letter of Intent stating it would “support the securing of necessary funds for the operation of the Center.”
The Hankyoreh further pointed out that the IERC was established without following the procedures stipulated in the university regulations, indicating procedural flaws.
We urge your participation in the press conference demanding the closure of the IERC, to be held tomorrow (Friday) at 10 a.m. in front of the SNU Administration Building!
