📣 2025년 10월 12일, 한국에서도 팔레스타인인들과 연대하는 전국 집중 행동의 날이 열렸습니다.
이탈리아, 영국 등 여러 나라에서 이어지고 있는 글로벌 팔레스타인 연대 운동의 저력을 한국에서도 느낄 수 있었습니다.
1500명이 넘는 사람들이 모여 “FREE PALESTINE”, “DOWN ISRAEL”을 외쳤습니다.
🌍 재한 팔레스타인인들이 사회자와 발언자로 나서고 대거 참여해, 참가자들은 팔레스타인의 대의를 몸소 느낄 수 있었습니다.
한국의 대학생, 교사를 비롯해 어린이부터 노인까지 전 세대가 함께한 집회였으며, 한국인뿐 아니라 다양한 배경의 사람들이 함께 연대의 마음을 모았습니다.
🤝 부산, 대구, 울산, 원주, 광주, 전주 등 각 지역에서 팔레스타인 연대 운동을 만들어온 ‘팔레스타인인들과 연대하는 사람들’이 서울로 집결했습니다.
참가자들은 대학, 거리, 지역으로 돌아가 이스라엘의 점령과 인종 학살을 폭로하고, 팔레스타인인들과 연대를 이어가기로 결의했습니다.
🎪 집회의 얼굴인 자원봉사단 ‘팔봉이’, 대학생·교사·청년들의 자발적인 기여로 다양한 부스가 운영됐습니다.
고려대·서울대·연세대·한양대 등 대학 동아리 소개 부스, 다양한 굿즈, 헤나·페이스페인팅·팻말 만들기 등으로 참가자들은 다채로운 방식으로 연대를 표현했습니다.
🎤 사회자 엠마(아일랜드계 팔레스타인인)의 여는 말을 시작으로, 살레흐 란티시(가자 출신 팔레스타인인), 방현석(작가), 키이스(미국인), 로비(인도네시아인), 한태연(한국인, 팔봉이), 호세이파(이집트인, 고려대 쿠피예 회원), 최규진(인도주의실천의사협의회 인권위원장) 등이 발언하며 행동이 계속돼야 함을 강조했습니다.
🇵🇸 집회 후 행진은 서울 도심을 팔레스타인 깃발로 수놓았습니다. 행인들의 지지와 연대가 이어졌습니다.
🎶 이소선 합창단의 공연과 국내·국제 연대 메시지가 더해져, 이번 전국 집중 행동의 날은 더욱 뜻 깊은 자리가 됐습니다.

📣 On October 12, 2025, the National Day of Action in Solidarity with Palestinian was held in South Korea.
The power of the global Palestinian solidarity movement, seen in countries such as Italy and the U.K., was felt here as well.
More than 1,500 people gathered, chanting “FREE PALESTINE” and “DOWN ISRAEL.”
🌍 Palestinians in Korea took the stage as hosts and speakers, allowing participants to feel the Palestinian cause firsthand.
It was a cross-generational protest and march, joined by students, teachers, children, and the elderly, and brought together people from diverse backgrounds, not only Koreans, united in solidarity.
🤝 People in Solidarity with Palestinians from Busan, Daegu, Ulsan, Wonju, Gwangju, and Jeonju,
who have been building the Palestinian solidarity movement across the country, gathered in Seoul.
Participants pledged to return to their universities, streets, and local communities to continue exposing Israel’s occupation and genocide and to carry forward their solidarity with Palestinians.
🎪 Thanks to the efforts of the volunteer team “Palbongi,” along with students, teachers, and young activists,
various booths were organized — including university club booths (from Korea Univ., Seoul Nat’l Univ., Yonsei Univ., and Hanyang Univ.),
as well as solidarity goods, henna art, face painting, and sign-making booths, offering diverse ways to express solidarity.
🎤 The event opened with remarks by Emma, an Irish-Palestinian host, followed by speeches from
Saleh Rantisi (Palestinian from Gaza), Bang Hyunseok (writer), Keith (American), Roby (Indonesian),
Han Taeyeon (Korean, Palbongi volunteer), Hozayfa(Egyptian, member of the Korea University Kufiyyeh group) and Choi Gyu-jin (Chair of the Human Rights Committee, Association of Physicians for Humanism) — all emphasizing the need for continued action.
🇵🇸 After the protest, the march filled downtown Seoul with Palestinian flags, drawing support and solidarity from passersby.
🎶 A performance by the Lee So-sun Choir, along with messages of domestic and international solidarity,
made this National Day of Action a truly meaningful gathering.
