[보고] 팔레스타인 연대 활동가 3인 검찰 송치건 “혐의 없음” 결론

2024년 4월, 경찰은 ‘팔레스타인인들과 연대하는 사람들’(‘팔연사’)에서 활동하는 3인(김지윤, 박이랑, 최영준)에게 ‘집시법 위반’ 혐의로 출석요구서를 발부했었습니다. 2023년 10월 18일 주한 이스라엘 대사관 앞에서 연 알아흘리 병원 폭격 규탄 긴급 기자회견을 문제 삼은 것입니다.

그해 11월 경찰은 3인에 대한 건을 검찰에 송치했으나, 지난달 “혐의 없음”(불송치)으로 마무리되었습니다.

‘팔연사’는 학살 중단을 요구하는 정의로운 목소리를 위축시키려 한 경찰의 시도를 강력히 규탄한 바 있습니다.

경찰 당국에 대한 항의와 운동에 대한 연대가 모인 덕분에, 경찰이 출석 요구서를 발부한 지 1년 만에 “혐의 없음”으로 종결되었습니다. 조력해 준 모든 분들께 감사의 마음을 전합니다.

지금 이 순간에도 이스라엘의 인종 학살은 계속되고 있고, 전쟁은 확대되고 있습니다. 연대와 저항이 계속돼야 하는 까닭입니다. 공격과 탄압에 굴하지 않고 함께 팔레스타인 해방을 향해 나아갑시다.

In April 2024, the police issued a summons to three members of ‘People in Solidarity with Palestinians'(PSP) — Kim Ji-yoon, Bak Irang, and Choi Young-joon — on charges of violating the Assembly and Demonstration Act. The issue stemmed from an emergency press conference held on October 18, 2023, in front of the Israeli Embassy in Korea, condemning the bombing of Al-Ahli Hospital.

In November of that year, the police referred the case to the prosecution. However, last month, the case was closed with a decision of “no charge” (non-referral).

PSP strongly condemned the police’s attempt to suppress the just voices demanding an end to the massacre. Thanks to widespread protest against the police and solidarity with the movement, the case was ultimately dismissed a year after the summons was issued.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us.

Even now, Israel’s genocide continues, and the war is escalating. That is why our solidarity and resistance must also continue. Let us move forward together toward the liberation of Palestine, undeterred by repression and attacks.
