국제해양방위산업전의 이스라엘 최대 군수기업초대 규탄한다!
부산 벡스코 전시장에서 국제해양방위산업전이 열리고 있다. 해군과 한국무역협회 등이 주최하는 무기 홍보 행사다. 전쟁으로 큰돈을 버는 기업들이 여럿 참가하는, 안 그래도 역겨운 그 행사에 이스라엘 최대 군수기업 이스라엘항공우주산업(IAI)이 참가하고 있다.
이스라엘은 인종 학살 국가다. 특히 2023년 10월부터 가자지구에서 폭격, 파괴, 학살 등 온갖 만행을 벌여 왔다. 팔레스타인인 최소 5만 명이 목숨을 잃었다. 그중 다수가 여성과 어린아이다.
이스라엘은 가자지구를 완전 봉쇄해 구호품을 끊고 인구 230만 명을 아사시키려 한다. 그리고 첨단 신무기로 날마다 가자 주민 수백 명을 살해하고 있다.
이 끔찍한 인종 학살에 세계 곳곳의 수많은 사람들이 분노하고 있다. 시온주의자들이 팔레스타인인 인종청소를 자행하고 이스라엘을 건국한 나크바 77년을 기해, 지난 5월 중순 세계 모든 대륙에서 팔레스타인인들과 연대하고 이스라엘의 인종 학살 종식을 촉구하는 시위가 일어났다.
이곳 부산에서도 ‘팔레스타인인들과 연대하는 사람들’은 꾸준히 팔레스타인 연대 집회와 행진을 벌이고 매번 많은 부산 시민들의 관심과 지지를 받았다.
이스라엘의 첨단 무기 산업은 미국의 막대한 지원으로 적극 육성된 산업이다. 팔레스타인인들의 저항을 억누르려면 첨단 무기가 필요하기 때문이다. 따라서 군수 산업과 첨단 기술 분야에서 이스라엘 기업과 손을 잡는 것은 팔레스타인인 인종 학살에 동참하는 것이다.
실제로 한국의 여러 기업들은 이스라엘 군수기업에 투자하고 기술 협력을 해 왔다. 이번 국제해양방위산업전에 초대받은 IAI는 한화와 무인기 공동 개발을 위한 기술 협력을 하고 있다. IAI가 만든 무인기와 전투기는 가자지구 인종 학살에 활용되고 있다. 한국 기업들이 인종 학살에 협력하고 있는 것이다.
한국 정부 또한 대(對)이스라엘 무기 수출을 허가하고 각종 교류를 늘리며 이스라엘의 인종 학살 전쟁에 공모해 왔다. 인종 학살 국가 이스라엘과의 교류는 즉각 중단돼야 한다.

We Condemn the Invitation of Israel’s Largest Defense Company to MADEX 2025!
The International Maritime Defense Industry Exhibition(MADEX 2025) is currently being held at BEXCO in Busan. This is a weapons exhibition hosted by the Navy and the Korea International Trade Association. It is already a disgusting event where corporations profit from war, and now Israel’s largest arms manufacturer, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), is participating.
Israel is a genocidal state. Since October 2023, it has carried out relentless bombings, destruction, and massacres in Gaza. At least 50,000 Palestinians have been killed, the majority of them women and children.
Israel has completely blockaded Gaza, cutting off humanitarian aid and pushing 2.3 million people toward starvation. Every day, it kills hundreds of Gazans with advanced weaponry.
People across the world are outraged by this horrific genocide. In mid-May, marking the 77th anniversary of the Nakba — the catastrophe of Zionist ethnic cleansing that established Israel — demonstrations were held on every continent to stand in solidarity with Palestinians and demand an end to Israeli genocide.
Here in Busan as well ”People in Solidarity with Palestinians” has continuously held rallies and marches in solidarity with the Palestinian people, receiving strong attention and support from Busan citizens.
Israel’s advanced arms industry has been aggressively developed with massive support from the US. Cutting-edge weapons are essential to suppress Palestinian resistance. Therefore, cooperating with Israeli companies in the arms and high-tech industries is tantamount to participating in genocide.
In fact, several S. Korean companies have invested in and collaborated with Israeli defense firms. IAI, which was invited to this year’s MADEX, is working with Hanwha on joint development of unmanned aerial vehicles. The drones and fighter jets manufactured by IAI are being used in the genocide in Gaza. S. Korean companies are thus complicit in genocide.
The S. Korean government has also enabled this by approving arms exports to Israel and expanding exchanges. In doing so, it has been complicit in Israel’s genocidal war. All cooperation with the genocidal state of Israel must stop immediately.
