오늘 1인 시위에는 인도주의실천의사협의회 전진한 정책국장님, 건강사회를위한치과의사회 홍민경 사무국장님, 강남향린교회 강선구 목사님, 그리고 연세대 팔레스타인 연대 동아리 ‘얄라연세’ 회원분들이 참가했습니다.

리플릿 수백 부가 30분만에 동날 정도로 방문객들이 큰 관심과 지지를 보내주셨습니다.
박물관 방문객들은 “맞는 말입니다” 라며 호응해주시거나, 뉴스에서 나오지 않는 중요한 소식을 알게 돼 고맙다며 힘주는 반응들을 보내주셨습니다.

📌 인류 유산 보호를 목표로 열리는 심포지엄 CIPA2025가 한국에서 열립니다.

그런데 CIPA2025는 팔레스타인의 문화 유산을 박살내고 인종학살을 자행하는 데 사용되는 무기를 연구하는 이스라엘 테크니온 공대를 포럼에 초청했습니다.

이번 포럼은 국립중앙박물관과 카이스트가 공동주최합니다. ‘팔레스타인인들과 연대하는 사람들’은 테크니온 공대 배제를 요구하는 공개 서한을 발송했으나, CIPA2025 측은 포럼을 코 앞에 둔 지금까지 아직 답변이 없습니다.

이에 포럼 당일인 일요일 항의 기자회견을 진행합니다. ‘팔레스타인인들과 연대하는 사람들’의 행동에 많은 관심 바랍니다.

“문화 유산 파괴, 인종 학살 연루 기관 이스라엘 테크니온 공대 CIPA 참가 반대한다!”

At today’s one-person protest, Jin-han Jeon, Policy Director of the Association of Physicians for Humanism, Min-kyoung Hong, Secretary General of the Association of Dentists for a Healthy Society, Pastor Seon-gu Kang from Gangnam Hyangrin Church, and members of “Yallah Yonsei,” the Palestine solidarity student club at Yonsei University, joined.

Hundreds of leaflets ran out in just 30 minutes, showing the great interest and support from visitors.
Museum visitors responded by saying, “That’s absolutely right,” or expressed their gratitude for learning about important news not covered by mainstream media, giving strong encouragement.

📌 CIPA2025, a symposium dedicated to the protection of humanity’s cultural heritage, will be held in Korea.

However, CIPA2025 has invited the Israeli Technion – an institution that develops weapons used to destroy Palestinian cultural heritage and to commit genocide – to the forum.

The forum is co-hosted by the National Museum of Korea and KAIST. ‘People in Solidarity with Palestinians’ sent an open letter demanding the exclusion of Technion, but with the forum just around the corner, no reply has been received.

There is no place in this land for a “research institution of massacre.”

We call for broad attention and support for the actions of ‘People in Solidarity with Palestinians’.

오늘 1인 시위에는 팔레스타인 연대 동아리 ‘얄라연세’를 비롯한 연세대 학생들과 강남향린교회 고윤철 님께서 동참해주셨습니다.

박물관 방문객들은 팻말을 유심히 보고 다가와 ”도대체 왜 박물관이 이런 테크니온을 초청하냐“며 비판의 목소리에 동조해주셨고, 한 프랑스 관광객은 자신도 프랑스에서 팔레스타인 연대 행동에 참여 중이라며 큰 응원을 보내주셨습니다.

At today’s one-person protest, Yeonsei Univ’s students including Yonsei University’s Palestine solidarity club ‘Yallah Yonsei’ and Yoon-cheol Koh from Gangnam Hyangrin Church joined in.

Museum visitors carefully read the placards and came up to express their agreement, asking, “Why on earth would the museum invite an institution like Technion?” A French tourist also showed strong support, saying that he also has been taking part in Palestine solidarity actions in France.

오늘 1인 시위에는 기간제교사노동조합 박혜성 위원장 님, 노동자연대 회원 민병우 님께서 동참해주셨습니다.

1인 시위를 지켜 본 한국인 청년들이 “파이팅”을 외치며 응원을 보내주셨고, 관광객들은 사진을 찍으며 더위에 힘내라고 생수를 사주고 가셨습니다.

At today’s one-person protest, Hye-Seong Park, Chairperson of Korean Fixed-term Teachers Union and Min Byung-Woo, a member of Workers’ Solidarity, joined in.

Korean youth who saw the one-person protest shouted “Fighting!(Cheer up)” in support, and tourists took photos and bought bottled water to encourage the participants in the hot weather.

Today’s one-person relay protest was joined by Hye-Seong Park, Chairperson of Korean Fixed-term Teachers Union and Yoon-Jung Lee of Majung(a civic group that visits detainees at Hwaseong Immigration Detention Center).

Not only museum visitors but also museum staff received the leaflets and voiced their support, saying, “Israel, which has killed so many people, should not be invited into the National Museum of Korea.”

오늘 1인 시위에는 ‘팔레스타인인들과 연대하는 사람들’의 소집간사 최영준 님, 아파르트헤이트 철폐의 역사를 지닌 남아프리카공화국 출신 플라워 님, 연세대 팔레스타인 연대 동아리 ‘얄라연세’ 임재경 님, 주말 집회 후 1인 시위를 자원해주신 시민 분께서 동참해주셨습니다.

한 80대 노인께서는 “이스라엘이 학살을 벌이는데 박물관이 초대하는 것은 국제적 망신“이라며 1인 시위를 응원해주셨습니다.

Today’s one-person relay protest was joined by Choi Young-jun, coordinating secretary of ‘People in Solidarity with Palestinians’(PSP), Flower from South Africa, which has a history in the struggle against apartheid, Im Jae-kyung of Yallah Yonsei (the Yonsei University Palestine Solidarity Club), and a citizen who volunteered for a one-person relay protest after attending the weekend protest.

An elderly woman in her 80s expressed her support, saying: “Israel is committing massacres, and for the museum to invite them is an international disgrace.”
