팔레스타인인 구금자들에게 자유를!

이스라엘 감옥에 갇힌 팔레스타인인 정치 구금자는 9700명에 달하고, 어린이∙여성∙언론인들이 다수 포함돼 있습니다. 팔레스타인인 5명 중 1명이 이스라엘에 체포∙기소된 경험이 있습니다. 이스라엘은 자의적으로 팔레스타인인들을 무기한 구금하고 고문∙학대해 왔고, 최근 팔레스타인인 구금자 의문사가 속출했습니다. 팔레스타인 구금자 위원회를 비롯한 여러 단체들은 8월 3일에 국제적으로 구금자 석방을 요구하자고 호소하고 있습니다.

There are more than 9,700 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli jails, including many children, women and journalists. Israel has arrested and charged one in five Palestinians. Israel has arbitrarily detained, tortured and abused Palestinians indefinitely, and there have been a number of recent disappearances of Palestinian prisoners. The Commission of Detainees Affairs of Palestine and other groups are calling for a global day on 3 August to demand the release of prisoners.
