영국 전쟁저지연합에서 인사드립니다.
이번 주말 주한 이스라엘 대사관 인근에서 열리는 팔레스타인 연대 ‘국제 행동의 날’ 집회에 연대를 표합니다.
주말에 이곳 영국에서도 저희는 가자에서 벌어지는 인종 학살에 항의하여 런던 거리에서 전쟁 반대를 외칠 것입니다. 경찰이 시위의 권리를 제약하려 하고 있음에도 굴복하지 않을 것입니다.
저희는 팔레스타인인들에 대한 이스라엘의 공격에 맞서 국제 운동의 일부가 되는 것이 중요함을 알고 있습니다. 이곳 영국에서 저희는 영국 정부에게 이스라엘에 대한 무기 판매를 당장 중단하라고 요구하고 있습니다.
저희는 또한 더 광범한 전쟁들과 제국주의적 팽창에도 항의하며 행진하고 있습니다. 주말에서 저희는 “레바논 공격 말라”, “이란 공격 반대” 등의 구호도 외칠 것입니다.
영국에서 전쟁 반대 운동을 벌이고 있는 저희는 전쟁에 맞서고 팔레스타인인들과 연대하는 저희의 활동에 박차를 가할 것입니다. 휴전이 발표됐음에도 우리는 점령 종식과 팔레스타인인들을 위한 진정한 해방과 정의를 계속 요구해야 한다는 것을 압니다.
저희는 항의를 이어갈 것입니다. 국제 전쟁 반대 운동의 일부인 여러분도 하시는 모든 일이 성공하기를 바랍니다.

Greetings from the Stop the War Coalition in Britain.
We offer solidarity to your day of action for Palestine this weekend and your protest outside the Israeli Embassy.
Here in Britain, we too will be taking the anti-war message onto the streets of London on and marching against the genocide in Gaza on Saturday, despite police attempts to restrict our right to protest.
We recognise the importance of being part of a global movement that opposes the Israeli assault on the Palestinians and here we are calling on our government in Britain to immediately end the sale of arms to Israel.
We are also marching against the dangers of wider wars and imperialist expansion and our demonstration on Saturday includes the slogans calling for ‘Hands off Lebanon’ and ‘Don’t attack Iran’.
We in the anti-war movement in Britain will intensify our work against war and in solidarity with the people of Palestine. Even as a new ceasefire has been announced, we know we must continue our calls for an end to the occupation and for true freedom and justice for the Palestinians.
We will continue to protest and wish you every success as part of the global anti-war movement.
