시온주의자들은 팔레스타인 땅에 이스라엘 국가를 세웠고, 그 과정에서 80만 명이 넘는 팔레스타인인들이 고향에서 추방되거나 학살당했습니다.
마을들은 파괴됐고, 사람들은 삶의 터전을 빼앗겼습니다.

팔레스타인인들은 이 비극을 ‘나크바(Nakba, 대재앙)’라고 부릅니다.

하지만 나크바는 단지 과거의 사건이 아닙니다. 그 역사는 오늘날까지 이어지고 있습니다.

이 영상은 그 시작을 이야기합니다.

Zionists established the state of Israel on Palestinian land, and in the process, more than 800,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homes or massacred.
Villages were destroyed, and people were stripped of their homes and livelihoods.

Palestinians call this tragedy the “Nakba” — meaning “catastrophe.”

But the Nakba is not just an event of the past. Its history continues to this day.

This video tells the beginning of that history.
