❌️ 명동·인사동 행진 제한은 마땅히 보장돼야 할 기본권과 표현의 자유를 옥죄는 것입니다. 지난 2년 넘게 매주 평화롭고 활력 있게 진행되어 온 도심 행진은 국내외 시민과 관광객들의 큰 환영 속에서 정의와 연대를 확인하는 현장이었습니다.

최근 이재명 대통령은 SNS를 통해 이스라엘군의 만행을 “위안부 강제, 유태인 학살”에 비유하며 인권의 소중함을 강조했습니다. 한국 대통령이 이스라엘의 인종학살을 비판한 것은 다행이나, 이제 실질적인 조처가 뒤따라야 합니다.
❌️ 정부는 ‘학살 공범’과 협력을 멈추고 연대의 목소리를 보장해야 합니다. 그간 한국 정부는 이스라엘에 무기 부품 수출을 지속하고, 트럼프가 주도하는 식민 통치기구인 가자 ‘평화 이사회’에 옵서버로 참여하는 등 학살의 방조자 역할을 해왔습니다.
❗️대통령 스스로 인종학살의 참상을 인지한 지금, 여전히 정부가 이스라엘과의 관계를 이어가며 연대의 목소리를 제약하려 든다면 그 누구도 진정성을 느낄 수 없을 것입니다.

For more than two years, these peaceful and vibrant weekly marches through central Seoul have been spaces where justice and solidarity were affirmed, warmly welcomed by citizens and tourists from Korea and abroad.
💡 President Lee Jae-myung’s criticism of Israel must be followed by concrete action to end Palestinian suffering.
Recently, President Lee Jae-myung stated on social media that the atrocities committed by the Israeli military were comparable to “Japanese Military Sexual Slavery” and “the Holocaust,” emphasizing the value of human rights. It is fortunate that a Korean president has criticized Israel’s genocide, but now meaningful measures must follow.
❌️ The government must stop cooperating with accomplices to genocide and guarantee voices of solidarity. So far, the South Korean government has continued exporting weapons components to Israel and has participated as an observer in the Gaza “Board of Peace,” a colonial governing body led by Donald Trump, thereby acting as an enabler of genocide.
❗️Now that the president himself has acknowledged the horrors of genocide, no one will find the government sincere if it continues ties with Israel while restricting voices of solidarity.
