이 법안은 군사 법원에서 구금된 팔레스타인인에 대한 교수형 집행을 허용하며, 자신의 땅을 지키거나 점령에 저항하는 과정에서 정착민을 사망에 이르게 한 것으로 밝혀진 팔레스타인인에 대해서는 선고 후 90일 이내에 사형을 집행하도록 규정하고 있습니다. 판결은 판사 과반의 동의만으로 가능하며 사면이나 감형도 금지됩니다. 이스라엘 군사 법원에서 팔레스타인인의 유죄 판결률은 96%가 넘습니다.
현재 어린이를 포함해 9500여 명의 팔레스타인인이 이스라엘에 구금돼 있습니다. 이들은 범죄자가 아닙니다. 이들은 식민 점령의 인질입니다.
이 법안을 주도한 극우 정치인 국가안보부 장관 벤그비르는 교수형을 뜻하는 올가미 핀을 달고 다니더니, 공개적으로 법안 통과를 축하했습니다.
“중동의 유일한 민주주의 국가”를 자처하는 시온주의 국가는 자신들의 잔혹한 본색을 또다시 드러냈습니다.
이 법안은 이번 주 수요일 최종 표결에 부쳐진 후 법률로 제정될 예정입니다.

On March 30, the Israeli parliament (Knesset) approved a bill allowing the execution of Palestinian detainees.
At a time when Israel is accelerating the seizure of land across Palestine, it is now preparing to execute Palestinian detainees.
This bill permits the execution by hanging of Palestinians held in military courts, and mandates that those found to have caused the death of settlers, while defending their land or resisting occupation, be executed within 90 days of sentencing. Verdicts can be issued by a simple majority of judges, and pardons or sentence reductions are prohibited. The conviction rate of Palestinians in Israeli military courts exceeds 96%.
Currently, around 9,500 Palestinians, including children, are detained in Israeli prisons. They are not criminals—they are hostages of a system of colonial occupation.
The far-right Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, who led this bill, openly celebrated its passage, having previously worn a pin depicting a noose symbolizing execution by hanging.
The Zionist state, which claims to be “the only democracy in the Middle East,” has once again revealed its brutal nature.
The bill is expected to be put to a final vote this Wednesday and then enacted into law.
All Palestinian detainees imprisoned by the Zionist terror state must be released immediately. Let us protest this law, which seeks to eliminate Palestinians and further entrench an apartheid system.
