서울대 팔레스타인 연대 동아리 ‘수박’의 영화 상영 소식을 전합니다.
🎬 11월 3일, 서울대 팔레스타인 연대 동아리 ‘수박’은 ‘2025 세계 팔레스타인 영화 상영의 날’을 맞아 캐롤 만수르와 무나 칼리디 감독의 영화 “열정의 국면”(A State of Passion) 상영회를 개최했습니다.
이 영화는 팔레스타인계 영국인 외과의사 가산 아부 시타 박사가 가자지구의 병원에서 43일간 의료 활동을 하며 목격했던 참상을 다룹니다. 끊임없는 폭격 속에서도 지칠 줄 모르고 인도주의적 활동을 이어가며, 팔레스타인 저항의 목소리로 떠오르는 그의 모습을 그립니다.
저희는 이번 상영회에 28명의 소중한 참가자분들과 함께하게 되어 영광스럽게 생각합니다. 상영 후에는 영화의 메시지와 인간적인 이야기에 깊이 공감하며 소감과 감정, 개인적 생각들을 나누는 짧은 토크가 이어졌습니다.

🎬 On November 3rd, SNU Soobak hosted the screening of “A State of Passion” by directors Carol Mansour and Muna Khalidi, as part of “Palestine Cinema Days Around The World 2025.”
The film follows Dr. Ghassan Abu Sittah, a Palestinian-British surgeon, through 43 harrowing days in Gaza’s hospitals, portraying his tireless humanitarian work under constant bombardment, and his emergence as a voice of Palestinian resistance.
We were delighted to have 28 participants join us for this special event. After the screening, they took part in a short discussion sharing reflections, emotions, and personal thoughts inspired by the film’s powerful message and human stories.
