Speeches by Emma a third-generation Palestinian in the diaspora, and Yun Ji-young, a researcher at Nanummunhwa gave participants immense courage and hope. Especially during the condemnation of Israel’s brutal actrocities of genocide, many passersby stopped to listen or even joined the protest.
The march toward the U.S. and Israeli embassies was powerful, even in the pouring rain, and the streets around Gwanghwamun resonated loudly with chants of “FREE PALESTINE” and “DOWN ISRAEL.”
